Triclosan Application
1. Used as reservatives and anti-mold agents in cosmetics, emulsions, and resins, also used in the manufacture of disinfectant soaps.
2. A broad-spectrum antibacterial agent that inhibits the expression of type II fatty acid synthase (FAS-II) in bacteria and Plasmodium, and also inhibits mammalian fatty acid synthase
