What Is Maduramicin?
Maduramycin is a polyether antibiotic extracted from actinomycete culture medium. It is commonly used as an ammonium salt. It is a white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in chloroform, methanol and ethanol. It is stable in an acidic medium.
